Welcome to Touch of Nature.

It is very exciting to introduce you to the first web site for Touch of Nature, as there have been many special reasons to put it together. Getting these pages up and running has taken many extraordinary people and truly there are some blessed individuals who don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk!
When there is urgency to get the job done or important tasks finished, as human beings we tend to procrastinate, avoid or delay the chore at hand. Why does this happen in our lives, just when you intuitively know you could benefit from completion of that job? In Latin the term procratinaus means - forward (pro) and - of tomorrow (cratinaus), or in Spanish terms 'manaña manaña'.
I am addressing procrastination in this first edition mainly to promote the idea that one can do anything they wish to complete in life only by over coming procrastination. You might be looking to start a gym membership or a yoga DVD class, or try alternative medicines this year instead of forgetting yourself, or your loved ones.
I would like to say to the people interested in being healthier this year that if you work hard, it is important to reward yourself in or out of the office, and that you first begin with little steps.
Just recently while researching my first article's topic I stumbled across an old note pad stuck to one of my favorite books on Aromatherapy and the Mind. I remember that day clearly. It was a gift to myself you see at the time I was a student and felt I deserved a little reward for the hard work I had managed throughout my examination period so I purchased my favorite topic at the time.
Getting back to the little sticky note pad it said evidently 4 needs I required, at the time being rent, food, love and harmony. My message to you is keep a (written) track record of the things you require to be fulfilled in your individual life.
Next time you are considering your procrastination methods, think about making room
for what you'd love to come into your current life. By looking at how you feel, maybe
you could be feeling good for having completed the job! Similarly, when you begin a
new exercise routine, at first you are resistant to the physical changes soon they
are replaced with a good sensation towards the idea, and then you feel drawn towards
doing the physical work that exercise requires you to do.
From me, that's all! I truly welcome you to our site, and warmly encourage any feedback, questions or comments. Please look out for a monthly editorial where I will be talking about current issues on health and wellbeing, book reviews and monthly special offers. Next edition will feature corporate workplace environment strategies to deal with pain and stiffness at the computer. Again, I welcome you to Touch of Nature and enjoy every moment of your life and value your instinctual nature and feelings and above all be well!
Warm thoughts from,
Blanca Perez ;)
